Matthew Browne is the President for Browne Valuation & Consulting Group and has a Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate Studies with a concentration in Finance and Appraisal from Marylhurst University. He is a designated member of the Appraisal Institute and the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) Chapter 36. Also, in 2023, Matthew Browne had the privilege of being asked to help rewrite a key textbook published by the IRWA, Principles of Right-of-Way, 5th Edition. 

 

Matthew D. Browne has more than 25 years of real estate appraisal and consulting experience, and has focused much of his career on litigation support and serving as an expert witness in the Eminent Domain, DIV/Title Dispute, Bankruptcy and other real estate spaces. He has extensive experience in testimony for Special Commissioners' hearings, in the State and Federal trial level, and has valued properties in Arkansas, Louisiana, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. 

 

​​The main properties that Mr. Browne has appraised include vacant land, multifamily, hotels/motels, professional/medical office, industrial, retail, single family residential and self-storage. In addition to these, numerous other specialty-use properties have been appraised.

Sam Sutton is the Senior Vice President for Browne Valuation & Consulting Group with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington. He has more than 19 years of real estate appraisal and consulting experience. Mr. Sutton has focused most of his career on litigation support in the Eminent Domain, Bankruptcy, and other real estate spaces. He has extensive experience in preparing reports and support for Special Commissioners’ hearings as well as at the State and Federal trial level.

 

The main properties he has appraised include vacant land, professional/medical office, industrial, retail, restaurants, single family residential and self-storage. In addition to these properties, numerous other specialty use type properties are also appraised including frac sand mining facilities, gas processing facilities, and specialized manufacturing facilities.

Ruben S. Montelongo is the Vice President for Browne Valuation & Consulting Group and has over 20 years of real estate appraisal experience. Mr. Montelongo graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2002 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing.

 

Mr. Montelongo has provided professional appraisal services on a variety of eminent domain assignments and projects in Texas, Arkansas and North Carolina for state, municipal, and private clients, with a primary focus on roadway expansion projects. His vast appraisal experience also includes properties such as vacant land, industrial, professional and medical office, retail, restaurants, self-storage, as well as multifamily and single-family residential. Additionally, he has experience in appraisal for complex litigation assignments and testimony in Special Commissioners hearings.

 

Mr. Montelongo is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in the State of Texas, State of Arkansas, and the State of North Carolina and is working towards obtaining the Right of Way Appraisal Certification (R/W-AC) from the International Right of Way Association (IRWA).

Dillon Smith is an Analyst with Browne Valuation & Consulting Group, where he specializes in complex valuation assignments under the mentorship of certified, designated appraisers. Building on a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from Texas Christian University, Dillon has completed advanced coursework in Valuation Bias, Fair Housing Laws, and Regulatory Compliance, ensuring a modern, data-driven approach to every assignment.

 

Currently, focused on the North Texas and Dallas-Fort Worth markets, Dillon assists in the valuation of properties across North Texas. He is a practicing member of the Appraisal Institute while also working towards his Certified General license.

Drawing on her experience in education, Silvia brings strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a solutions-focused mindset to her work. She is committed to delivering results while building meaningful relationships, fostering collaboration, and supporting the continued growth of the business.
